Mark Takayesu has been a private instructor for viola/violin for almost 15 years. As an active free-lance performer and instructor, he has inspired many students to develop their musical talent and appreciation for the arts.

           Mark began his viola studies at the age of 11 in Southern California. He began taking private viola lesson from a well known violist, Harry Hall, from the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra. Mark has played in a variety of orchestra’s and ensemble which include the USC Symphony Orchestra, and the Palos Verdes Peninsula Symphony Orchestra. Today, Mark is an active violist and violinist of the Chinese Christian Family Church in Alhambra, CA and frequency performs at church services, special holiday concerts, and special solo engagements. Mark provides instruction in both violin and viola.
